Now Featuring IntenseDebate

I am finally adding the IntenseDebate plugin to the site. The idea behind IntenseDebate is a marvelous concept, and I hope to take full advantage of it in the future. At times I have wondered what it would be like to worry less about producing new content on my own site and focus my time on reading worthwhile content on other people’s sites and contributing meaningful comments. With the typical weblog this creates a silo of information that other readers of that particular site will enjoy, but others won’t even know about. IntenseDebate offers a viable solution by tracking comments across sites and integrating them in one place. It’s a creation of Matt Mullenweg, creator of WordPress and constant innovator.

What you’ll notice is that when you comment on a post you’ll now have the option of signing into IntenseDebate or commenting as a Guest. I highly recommend that you consider getting an IntenseDebate account and trying it out for yourself. Even if you don’t have a weblog of your own and you simply enjoy commenting, IntenseDebate will help you do so more effectively.
